IYA (International Young Adults Group) Aussie Night - 29th June.
The hall was decorated with gold & green streamers & balloons, gum leaves with cardboard cut-out koalas peeking out from amongst the leaves. The main course of the evening meal consisted of a four 'n' twenty pie, baked potato in foil with sour cream and
peas. Dessert was lamington with ice-cream. Our usual group of leaders and assistant leaders was augmented by members of the English language church who willingly volunteered to assist with kitchen duties. They also were called upon to form an
informal choir and sang a selection of Aussie songs. Our guest speaker for the evening was Brad Jackson. Prior to giving his address to the young adults, Brad was interviewed by Simon Crittle. Brad.......
